Error Settings
|
|
Sets the number of errors allowed per level of testing.
The percentage options set the number of errors based on the
number of words in the verse. With 100 words in a verse, a setting of 10%
allows 10 errors. This seems like a high number, but for poor typists,
its helpful.
MemoryMan is also smart about ignoring silly errors. For
example, its common when completing the word "faith" to type an f
even if the first f is already showing. MemoryMan will not count that
against you.
When you have exceeded your errors, the Tester asks you if you want
to start over.

Helps Allowed
|

Clicking the down arrow or the underlined number displays the
menu.
Sets the number of helps allowed per level of testing.
The percentage options works like the error options above.
How you get a help, and what kind of help is
determined by clicking on the "Helps out of" label, explained below.

Types of Helps
|
|
Clicking the label "Helps out of" displays this menu.
Sets the type of help and how you get it.
The first 3 options set how many words are displayed when you right
click a hidden word. For example, right-clicking (the right-most mouse button)
on the word "for" in Ephesians 2:8-9 above, will yield a 5 word list
of 3 letter words to choose from (if 5 word choices is chosen). This
gives a help without giving the word away.
Double clicking on a word can complete the word or complete the next
letter for you. The enter key can optionally be used to duplicate the
double-click behavior.
