Frequently Asked
Questions

Answer
|
|
I added verses in MyFavorites but they are
not showing up in MemoryMan?
|
You've
either
-
added custom
verses, but not added the verses to a list,
go back and add these verses to a list.
-
added verses
to a list that you are not currently working on in MemoryMan.
Select the list you added verses to. Click the "User Settings Menu"
then "Change User/Settings...". Click the user on the left whose list you
added the verses to, click the "Use Custom Selection" button on the right, then
click the appropriate list. Click OK and MemoryMan will now display this
list.
|
| Can I add verses or
definitions, or anything else, to an Awana Book? |
-
From within MemoryMan, you can add anything
you like to the end of the book, in a special folder called "Added items".
Click File>>Add Verse. Add your verse, or definition, or
whatever you like... it will be added to the end of the book.
-
You can also create a "copy" of your Awana Book and
add, or modify the copy. To do this, make sure the Awana book you want to
modify is currently selected in MemoryMan. Click the File Menu, then
"Added/Edit Custom Verses" option. This will switch you to
MyFavorites. Add whatever verses or items you want using the "Add/edit
Verse option", then add these items to your list in the "Edit List"
option. When finished, close MyFavorites. You will be prompted to
save, and then told you cannot save changes to an Awana book, BUT that you can
make a copy of it. Select OK to make a copy, choose the new name, click
OK and then close MyFavorites. You'll be returned to MemoryMan, and the
new item(s) will now be showing in MemoryMan.
|
| I'm trying to type the whole word of the
verse during the test mode, but MemoryMan is completing the words for me,
moving to the next word and then giving me an error because I'm still
typing the rest of the first word |
MemoryMan does not require you to type the
whole words because its a Memorization program not a typing program (although
it will help you in this area as well). However, if you really want to
type all the letters of the word, then click on the drop down "T" button in the
test area, and change the setting from the default ("Only the 1st letter needed
to complete a word") to "100% needed..." option. |
